Are you rehearsing enough?
I occasionally hear people say they’re going to rehearse less because they don’t want to sound too scripted. But going into a presentation unprepared is probably the worst thing you can do. Just as actors rehearse in order to seem natural and spontaneous, speakers must work hard to be conversational during a presentation. Read more in my article, The Secrets of the Best Public Speakers.
