The Influential Speaker

We cover the essentials of public speaking, including content development and delivery. Participants learn how to influence decisions in a variety of settings, from ad hoc meetings to formal presentations. Everyone speaks and receives same-day feedback.

Secrets of Executive Presence

Participants learn how to project confidence and shape audience perceptions. Module 1 (“Mastering Body Language”) focuses on the nonverbal cues that signal authority and credibility. Module 2 (“Authentic Leadership”) focuses on deep listening, mindfulness, and authentic communication.

Strategic Storytelling

Stories are the heart of influence. Participants learn to communicate values and inspire action through storytelling. We cover narrative selection and structure, with an emphasis on true stories for organizational contexts.

Some conversations are harder than others, especially when emotions and egos are involved. Participants in this course develop the language and confidence to speak in high-stress situations, whether they’re facing a difficult colleague or uncertain ethics.

Influence Strategies

How do you influence decisions and move people to action? This course covers critical influence strategies, from classical rhetoric (Module 1) to social psychology and behavioral economics (Module 2). The two modules are offered separately or in combination.

Leading Change

For change efforts to succeed, leaders must appeal to hearts and minds. Behavioral and environmental factors also play a part. In this course, participants learn the most common barriers to change and how to overcome them. We provide a simple, strategic framework to ignite meaningful change within an organization or community.

Data-Driven Presentations

Participants learn to craft data-driven presentations that persuade listeners while avoiding information overload. We cover story flow, slide design, and data visualization. Perfect for physicians, researchers, technical experts, or anyone else who communicates with data.

Media Messaging

To be successful on TV or radio, interviewees need a clear objective and concise messaging. In this course, we show how to craft a master narrative with supporting messages, leveraging evidence, stories, and soundbites that stick.
